Technical advantages of head stretching machine:
1. The head hydraulic press is used for cold and hot forming of various pressure vessel heads, and can also be used for drum pressing, folding and leveling of various thick and thin steel plates.
2. The shapes generally pressed include sphere, ellipse, dish, spherical crown, cone shell and flat cover, etc., which can all be pressed and formed using a four-column hydraulic press.
3. The head hydraulic press has an independent electrical control system and PLC control, with reliable working sensitivity.
4. It can realize two molding processes: fixed stroke and fixed pressure. The working pressure and stroke can be adjusted within the specified range according to the process needs.

7. The main feature of the head hydraulic press is that the main cylinder (i.e., the stretching cylinder) is connected to the upper beam and passes through the reserved through hole in the middle of the sliding beam. It is not connected to the sliding beam and acts on the material plate to form a tensile force. The sliding beam, under the push of the edge pressing cylinder, forms a edge pressing force on the material plate through the edge pressing die. The number of edge pressing cylinders is generally 4, 6, 8, 12, etc., which are connected to the sliding beam through a flange.

Working principle:
When the head stretching machine is working, the billet is placed on the die port, and the control system controls the movement of the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder drives the connecting shaft to move downward, driving the punch at the lower end of the connecting shaft to press down. After the punch contacts the billet, it continues to press down. The billet is deformed and concave under the pressure until the billet contacts the inner surface of the die. The billet is deformed into a concave head under the action of the punch and the die. After the head is pressed and formed, the hydraulic cylinder drives the connecting shaft to move upward, driving the punch to move up, and the head can be taken out. The head hydraulic press presses the billet into a concave head through the matching punch assembly and die assembly. According to the requirements of the finished product, the corresponding punch and die are selected, and the pressing is performed in one time, which improves the production efficiency, and the processed product has good performance and does not need secondary repair. In addition, this press has a simple structure and is easy to operate, which is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.
